First Trial at Holmfirth -
Our first trial this year was at Easter and it has now become known as our Stephen Goddard Memorial Event after the loss of one of our younger men 3 yrs ago, this was his favourite site and all his Family support it every year. This year his mother and sister provided us with refreshments and all the proceeds went to Willow Wood Hospice for the terminally ill, which is where Steve spent his last days.
We were very fortunate with the weather, it was a lovely day and every one competing enjoyed the day from our newer member Greg in his Landy of many colours to our Chairman Jonathan who as you see here is very safety conscious in his helmet due to his soft top (that's his vehicle not him).
The site gave the lads a bit of a Challenge, from steep hills to deep ditches and side slopes to axle twisters, all in all an enjoyable day, especially for the lads that came tops!
