The week end of the 2/3/4th July was a scorcher and what a hot
sticky time we had. Having a good turn out of entrants we gathered
every one together around 11.15am to give them their instructions.
15 clippers in all where about the site to find and also 5 Bonus
ones.

Everyone
did well finding most of the clippers. Then into the evening we
had a
big screen to watch England lose to Portugal, (Hurry!) and of course
the barbecue with drinks flowing aplenty. Someone decided to erect
a rope slide and all the kids thoroughly enjoyed it, the bigger kids
enjoyed it too.
The next morning (sunday) was play time and for any one who has
been to Tong I think the place most people head for is"The
Lake"

There's somthing about water and motors, "whos going to get stuck
first"seems to come to mind!

Well after
the initial dowsing it was found that others had ideas! "Why not
lets get stuck somewhere else"
