Easter Saturday and Jonathan Trevor and I went
over to set the site up ready for Sunday. We were joined by Hawkeye
and Hadyn and
we had a lovely warm morning. This would be great if tomorrow
was the same but Sunday came and it was wet, windy and cold. This
did not deter the lads however that turned up.
Here's "Just Ten Coat Jane" with coats
borrowed to keep warm, and a brew was in order before we started. |

The
first 3 sections were pegged out reasonably easy as we have new
members who wanted
to have a go. Then sections 4 - 8 got progressively harder. |

The drizzle didn't last long which was a good
thing because it would have been very slippy on some of the hills.

As far as
I know no one had any damage except Trevor who insisted on trying
the impossible (that's my view anyway). The
course went down into a basin and he smacked his front end into
a tree. He couldn't get out so he had to be winched out much to
the amusement
of all the lads.

We
had a good day everyone drove well even the new lads. The winning
three are pictured here below.
